New Project

Great news! Lucy’s profile over at her Agency have revealed she is to start filming MO MOWLAM with Julie Walters and David Haig.

After a quick bit of reseach I’ve discovered this new project is a drama to be broadcast on Channel 4 in 2010.

The life of the former Northern Ireland secretary Mo Mowlam is being made into a television drama. Julie Walters is to play Ms Mowlam, one of the most popular Labour politicians of recent times, in the C4 programme. The broadcaster said ‘Mo’ would explore the Redcar MP’s rise to prominence in Tony Blair’s Labour government.

Exciting stuff!

It’s great that Lucy’s doing something again, but I have to aay that this project doesn’t interest me at all. I’ve enjoyed all Lucy’s past roles (Miss Potter, Sense’, and Ballet’), but this is one I’m not going to watch, which makes me sad. Lucy’s such a good actress and she should be getting better roles. Here’s to hoping that she makes better things in the future.
