So, who is Lucy Boynton?

Lucy is an English 16 year old girl from London, England who at the age of 12 decided she wanted to act. She was then discovered by casting director Priscilla John for a role of a young Beatrix Potter in a Miss Potter (2006) and after a whirl of costume fittings, screen tests and filming Lucy’s acting career was launched! Family: Her father is Graham Boynton, The Daily Telegraph travel editor, her mother is journalist Adriaane Pielou and her sister Emma also attends her school St. James Allens’.

Location: South London, England

Education: Attending St James Allens’ Girls’ School an independant girls’ day school.

Biography

Before Lucy decided she wanted to act, her original ambition was to work at Battersea Dogs’ Home. Then in the New Year of 2006 when Lucy turned 12 she decided she wanted to become an actress, having only appeared in school plays.

“I want to be an actress when I grow up,” she said.  She was still light-headed from recent rescue from years of sheep and angel obscurity to star in the school play, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
